Arsenal possaible transfer with stats

Postby gurdy84 » June 10th, 2013, 5:30 pm

my first blog ever I don’t know if anyone’s already done this but here is 5 year statics and my opinion see who you’d prefer and why. I have not seen us strongly linked to any defenders or keepers if we have then sorry. I’m using wages I’ve read these players are already on as I don’t know what arsenal would offer this are also valuations I’ve read bids would need to be to get them

Wayne Rooney
Estimated value 30mil salary 250,000 a week
Wayne Rooney is about 5’8 and is 27 years old best position is on the shoulder of a striker but he’s off field antics, wages I don’t feel there is serious interest I think its wenger being smart saying we got money if we want him we can have him so other players will think arsenal are serious about buying big players also if moyes can’t sort it then wengers also not said I dislike Disney movies especially (Shrek )and I dislike you acting like a teenager but because on the pitch when playing at his best he can be unplayable and has won stuff and played in high pressure matches which we’ve been known to choke why I believe Rooney’s on are radar but not first choice

2010-11 28 11 11
2011-12 34 27 7
2012-13 27 12 10

Gonzalo Higuaín
Estimated value 25mil salary 130,000 a week
Higuaín is about 6ft, 25 years old and out and out striker and would play well with a Giroud Podolski or even Walcott on he’s shoulder he’s used to high pressure coming from Madrid stats show he can score and assist Arsène has watched him since his time before Madrid he is underrated and could give us strength speed and goal machine we need I feel he would fit straight in to are team and is well suited to premier league and would show people we mean business

2011–12 35 22 9
2012–13 28 16 5

Stevan Jovetic
Estimated value 20-25mil salary 60,000 a week
Jovetic is 6ft tall he plays off the shoulder off striker like Rooney but is only 23 my main concern is his injury record as you can see he spent hole season out 3 years ago and has had a few injury’s he’s a player I have personally big admire of for years very skilful also not a selfish player as you can see he’s improving he can score but he will also lay other strikers through and is but hes not as used to as much pressure that would be on him at arsenal
Season Serie A games played Goals Scored Assist

2010-11 injured for the season
2011-12 27 14 5
2012-13 31 13 6

Marouane Fellaini
Estimated value 24mil wages 75,000 a week
Fellaini is 6’3 and 25 years oldhes a defensive mid admitted he would like to play champions league we would be a step up hes used to premier league strong good on the ball but he has issues with temper on the field like Rooney so could cost us points but same as Rooney has the ability to win points he would free up Wilshere or Arteta to move have a free role his work rate is good but I worry about his hot head and his passing ability is not up to arsenal standard

2011–12 34 3 6 6
2012–13 31 11 6 9 1

Cesc Fàbregas
Estimated value 40mil but I read we can get him for 25? Wages 100,000
We’ll all I need to say about this lad is hes been with us before he’d be welcomed back he still follows arsenal 5’10 26 years old passing ability brilliant can cut you open in one pass scores goals sets goals up and got winners mentality leadership qualities we lack on the field

Someone we haven't been linked too but is another option is Mario Gomez. His stats are remarkable and it's been said he is for sale. Maybe even Lewendowski is worth a shout also

i heard gomez to spurs ? hes one of the best finnshers in the world speed let him down and lack of movement could be a issue in the premiership do you agree? lewandanski is a mixed bag sean him play few times a bit like rooney on his day is brilliant but can wonder in and out of games and if teams not performing he wont take role and change the game that what we lack while jacks not fit someone who when we not playing well we grab the game by the horns

Wow, gurdy, thats some good stats you have there, if you want i can add your blog to my blogs here viewforum.php?f=201

Also tweet me your blog af @thehighburyinn and ill retweet it

Im a sucker for stats and if you have heard the podcast you might have heard me reading out stats from here as stats for me give you an insight into the club/manager/players that cant be argued too much

I voted Cesc and yes your right we get first refusal at £25m and i think @GeoffArsenal said they still owe us about £10m, yes he did wrong but we all make mistakes, its not like he did a Nasri or a RvP

great post guv

yes you can move if you would like to

same as you really we can all find pros and cons for everyone but stats talk for them self that's why I did five years so you can see if they were one season wonder

what podcast was that?

i was not sure about adding cesc as the mistake he made but he was young at the time and he still follows us so id welcome him back and as you voted for him I can see you would

oh I didn't know they still owed us are we the only club who takes instalments for key players?

Had to go with Higuain. Imo our biggest problem is putting away chances we create, we all got frustrated with Giroud last season for being wasteful. Higuain will give us that clinical edge and is more than just a poacher. He can be a 30 goal a season striker no doubt for me.

Hmmmmm how lazy can he be with those stats though? If he can bring those stats to Arsenal he can be as lazy as he wants  He will be a massive upgrade on Giroud definitely though! I just watch this video and think "Yes, bring me him now, we must have him" :D

If I could throw my 2 pence in as I said dont know much about Higuain one is your source reliable and if hes
Lazy look at gomez lazy slow and if teams not performing hes a bag of bollox but he can score
So being lazy if can score you can win fans over at end of season people dobt rember the brilliance of a player they look at the goals and if your right and hes got attitude problem that concerns me we dont want a ballotelli do we?

As good as Mario Gomez is, I really don't think it's what we need. Too similar to Giroud. I'm liking the idea of Higuain leading the front line or playing off Giroud. His goal scoring stats are pretty impressive.

Who would you like to see brought in then Danny? I was quite keen on Higuain until I heard @VENGooner's opinion on him, although this is a different league so no one knows how any player will adapt. Henry wasn't exactly amazing before he came here. I know you don't want Rooney. I wouldn't say no. The past is the past. I think if a player comes in and does a job for us then fans quickly forget. Take Sol for example. If an ex spud can become a legend then surely Rooney could? I'm not trying to change your opinion lol, just saying.

Top of the list out of anyone for me would be Fellaini. I've wanted him for a couple of years.
