Depends on what the midfield situation is like at the start of next season though I suppose.

Central Midfield is one area that shouldn't really need strengthening, but with Wilshere still out (and Wenger saying he won't be ready for the start of next season), Diaby a near permanent fixture on the physio's table and Arteta in a boot at the moment, not to mention Benayoun only being on loan till the end of the season (I really wouldn't mind him joining permenantly, he's not amazing, but he works hard and brings a bit of experience with him that can help close matches off), we never really know where we stand...

Is Jack not going to be ready for next season!

Shit

Playing our 4 - 5 - 1 our best XI midfield would be

Song as the holding defensive mid
Wilshire & Arteta in the middle
Walcott & The Ox out wide

then subs of Rosicky, Ramsey, Gervinho & Frimpong as the first 4

but i get a feeling Diaby will play a big role next season as he has been out for a year and that worked for Rosicky

fingers crossed we wont have a WW1 style injuries room like we had this season

Diaby's been out a year? He's never actually played a full season as far as I'm aware! Hell, make that half a season.

His premiership stats

2011/12 - Played 4 Games (Started 0)
2010/11 - Played 16 Games (Started 13)
2009/10 - Played 29 Games (Started 26)
2008/09 - Played 24 Games (Started 16)
2007/08 - Played 14 Games (Started 9)
2006/07 - Played 12 Games (Started 9)
2005/06 - Played 12 Games (Started 9)

so of a possible 38 x 7 games (266 games) he has played 112 which is 42.105%, thats not that bad i suppose and he has scored 14 games in that 112 which is a goal every 10 games ish

he is a very skillfull player who as we have seen can play anywhere but i like him in a more attacking central role as he has an eye for goal

but how much longer can arsen keep him and justify his wages of about £50,000 PW = £2,600,000 PY

Ramsey will come good with a decent summer of rest behind him and hopefully next season he won't get played out of fucking position either.

like i say luv he aint the wales captain for no reason

if he got played in cm like he does for wales with the licence to roam then his confidence would improve and he will flourish
