ill be gutted if he goes but can we honestly blame him if he doubles his wages for a 4 year deal in the sun of spain, if i were not a gooner id be gone

but we always sell they player who carried us the previous season

Could see him going obviously, but equally... He's idolised here and his family seem settled.

ive also read/heard that he loves it here and is honoured to be captain so i really hope he stays

he will want to emulate our other dutch master which will encourage him to stay

If the past is good predictor of the future, then RVP is as good as gone. I read on a blog its not that the Arsenal fans are really in love with RVP like an Adams, Henry, or Bergkamp, we're in love with him because he is what we have and we all know he won't be properly replaced.

that sums it up superbly, you know its great that the 3 names you mentioned are the best 3 players we have ever had and THEY WERE ARSENAL

i too think we will miss his goals more than him
