SUPERB

I am a keen follower of French football and have had my eye on this bloke for 2 seasons and last season his team won the French league for the very first time and it was an amazing season & last game

He is 25 & 6ft 4" and great in the air and on the floor

Last season he got 21 league goals in 36 games and they were champions and the season before that he got 12 in 37 games so not only has he banged in 33 goals for a very unfashionable side but he has missed only 3 games in 2 seasons!

Montpellier won the title in only their 3rd season back in the top division after 5 seasons in division 2 and 3 seasons ago Olivier was playing for Tours who finished 12th in division 2!

he has had a few clubs now (Arsenal are his 5th team)

i think he is going to be superb, i cant remember being so excited about 2 new players as i am with Giroud & Podolski

Im not sure what shirt number he will wear but in his 2 seasons he wore no. 17 for Montpellier & no.17 for Tours

But Alex Song has had the no.17 at Arsenal for years now so he wont give that up

My money is on maybe 11 as Santos is a left back and should not wear 11

Giroud should wear #53...a thousand pounds more a week than Bendtner.

lots of french players wear their area code as the car registration plates have a 2 digit code for their area so some use that
